TZVETAN TODOROV's theory is shown in my movie idea with the equilibrium point being where they are a happy couple in love but auguring the event that disrupts this is when she is seen to commit suicide and haunts him. This is solved when we find out at the end that he actually killed her and he made an alternate reality where she committed suicide.
My idea also proves, David Bordwell & Kristen Thompson of Neoformalism where the death of the girl happens in the beginning but we don't find out what actually happens to her till the end. this is a form of nerformalism.
