Genre - Action

The first genre i will be researching movies from the genre ACTION !

• large budget films $100-$110 million which is spent on SGI, locations, special effects and a big time actor, who will attract people to come and watch the movie.

A recent idea of a big budget action film may be Salt, this is a film where A CIA agent goes on the run after a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. There a very large action scene's which need a big budget, with CGI effects such as explosions, which i defiantly would be unable to do.

This movie proves that most actions have a large budget with big actors in to get people into cinemas to watch it. This film stars Angelina Jolie who is a very well known actress. The actors in this movie and the majority of action movies are adults. Salt has a worldwide box office total of $216.89 million. Salt is now Sony Pictures third highest grossing film of the year, both domestically and worldwide, behind The Karate Kid and Grown Ups.

In conclusion ... An action film isn't impossible to make for my movie trailer but would be incredibly difficult to produce because mostly all action films include stunts (which i cant make my actors do as they arnt trained) and CGI effects (which i cannot afford and i don't have the right equipment to produce).

Another problem i would encounter is actors, this is because it is possible to have teenage actors in films but it is very rare, and there are always adults in the film at some point. Also watching several action movies there is always quite a few actors i wouldn't be able to make an action movie trailer successfully with only 2-3 main actors it would deam itself difficult, as you always have the background people or police, army, crowd's etc to add effect to your movie, make it look more realistic.

So i wont be making an action film for my movie trailer because of the above reasons.
