Guardian's Book on How to Make a Film.

I was given a insert from the Guardian, about "How to Make Films" .. i have read through the whole things and have found some useful parts from it which i am going to use to develop my idea further, it helps people who have an idea for a film develop there film on a budget. Which is useful for me.
Apart from what i have already used when it comes to editing and sound there is also more helpful parts for those.

The Useful Bits ...

when i started to make my story board it helped as it gave me ideas of how to make a movie but differently for example it talks about how (Hero 2002) employs a series of flash backs to weave together the story.
it has helped me decide how to use dialog and how to pare it down to the absolute essential so in my film either to build tention or to add to the effect.
it has helped me discover what types of shots will give a scene a certain effect e.g. Big close up is used to show emotion or a character, i will definatley need to use this shot.
