My First Audience Feedback to find Target Audience.

In class we have had several discussions among us about every ones trailer ideas.

Here is some of the feedback i have received from my class about my preliminary idea:-

• "its a good idea"




• "teenagers would be my main audience, as they seem to be the audience who are mainly interested in the Horror genre. And where the ones most interested when we discussed it in class."




• "i should perhaps look at my story line and make it less complicated as this might make it quite hard for me to film"




• "Good for a teenage audience




• "They would watch it"

From this i can see that my audience will be mainly teenagers and perhaps young adults so I'm aiming my trailer to attract the ages of 15-25, because these are the ages that watch the traditional horror film genre. through the notes that where made i have re looked at my idea and decided it perhaps is a bit complex; but as that is the idea for the "movie" not the "trailer" this wont be a problem as the trailer wont show the complete story just bits to intise the audience. But it has made me rethink what scenes to film and what ones might confuse the audience.
